Flaming Grill invites customers to take Trash Can Challenge

Spirit Pub Company has launched a new menu for its Flaming Grill pubs featuring a dish served in a trash can lid.

The Trash Can Challenge dish includes a full rack of ribs, double cheese and bacon burger, beef chilli sundae, a chicken skewer, onion rings, corn on the cob and a triple portion of chips (£19.99). A 32oz steak challenge is also being offered, which features a 35-day aged rump steak, onion rings, a double portion of chips, onion rings, sizzling onions, mushrooms, peas and half a grilled tomato (£19.99).

These two challenges add to the existing Flaming challenge burger (£9.99).

A new menu has also been introduced at Spirit’s 158 Fayre & Square pubs. New dishes include the pizza burger - a cheese burger wrapped in a pizza bread and a fiery devil dog – a foot long Boroughbridge sausage dog topped with ghost chilli sauce.

Spirit has taken inspiration from America with the menu, introducing ‘Burger Joint’ and ‘Dog House’ areas to showcase its burger and hot dog ranges.

The brand has also given its children’s menu an overhaul by introducing a fresh new look themed around racing with a table board game included and new dishes that give children the option to mix and match to create meals.

The company is also looking for a  ‘Little Leaders’ panel of children between five and eight to help decide what is going on its next menu.
