ETM Group's chef burger competition open for entries
Professional chefs are invited to submit their best burger for the contest held at the Gun, Docklands, east London on 5 June.
Food fans will attend the event, which will be judged by a panel including Rebecca Seal from Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, restaurant critic Tracey MacLeod, London Evening Standards’ food editor Victoria Stewart and Restaurant magazine’s editor Stefan Chomka.
Innovation and creativity is encouraged to find an unusual and deserving winner. The Opera Tavern’s Jamie Thickett and Ben Tish were victorious last year with an Iberico pork, foie gras, crispy pig’s head, salted liver, courgette relish, lettuce, aioli and guindilla creation.
The entry fee is £25 and tickets for guests will be available after the shortlist is chosen.
