The leases for the sites, mostly located in the north, reverted back to landlord Barracuda Propco after Bramwell was placed into administration in October.
Kennedy has been running the sites since 23 December under the Pebble Solutions vehicle, a subsidiary of his company Pebble Hotels.
He told M&C Report: “Sales have grown every week since we’ve had them. We are getting ourselves back to the point where the business is fairly viable.
“Our prime job is to get them trading to a good level and then the property owner can decide what to do going forward.”
Bramwell operated 185 sites when it was placed into administration with Zolfo Cooper.
Stonegate subsequently bought 78 of the outlets, with Christie+Co appointed to market the leases on a number of others.
Varsity Bars
Separately, Varsity Bars, a new company that last December secured 18 ex-Bramwell venues, has appointed a former Bramwell executive as area
manager for its northern sites.
Danny Black, who also previously worked for Spirit Pub Company, worked for Bramwell within its operations team in Lancashire and Yorkshire.
His counterpart in the southern region at Varsity is Christian Kent, who also worked for Bramwell as manager of Varsity in Plymouth. Kent told M&C Report last month that Varsity Bars is targeting an estate of 30 sites and will look to diversify the retail offer.
