Craft Guild of Chefs research chef use of social media

The Craft Guild of Chefs (CGC) is condusting a survey into chefs’ use of social media.

In conjunction with Mars Foodservice, the report aims to highlight whether chefs use social media for work, why they use it and how it helps their businesses. Social business consultancy Digital Blonde, which specialises in hospitality, food and foodservice, will author the report which will be released in November.

CGC chief executive Martin Bates said: "Modern day chefs have so much more to think about than just the taste and appearance of the dishes they cook. Positive and negative reviews are spreading so much quicker through social media and I hear some amazing success stories from chefs that are using social media well."

Visit dblon.de/1f4QMvz to complete the survey by 1 November and be entered into a prize draw to win an iPad donated by Mars.
