The scotch eggs will be judged by a panel of experts. It is a ticketed event with proceeds going to international charity Action Against Hunger.
Last year, the Bladebone Inn in Reading, Berkshire was victorious with its duck egg, truffle layer and a potato and Parma ham breadcrumb version.
