Auctions see more pubs go under the hammer

More than 20 pubs are set to go under the hammer within the next three weeks in two separate auctions held by Savills and Sidney Phillips.

The freeholds of six former pubs will be among the properties on offer at the upcoming Savills auction, due to take place at Nottingham Racecourse on 22 August at 2.30pm.

These include the Angel Inn in Kneesall, Nottinghamshire, at a guide price of £225,000; the former Pauncefort Arms in East Stoke, Nottinghamshire, guide price £170,000; the Crispen Arms in Wollaston, Northantonshire, guide price £265,000; Deer’s Leap Weston, near Spalding, Lincolnshire, guide price £175,000; the former Black Lion in Blackfordby, Derbyshire, guide price £150,000; and the Riflemans Arms in Belper, Derbyshire, guide price £125,000.

Sidney Phillips has 15 freehold pubs for sale at an auction on 4 September at Puckrup Hall in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.
