Two are set to open this month following investments of more than £430,000 each. The Eastfield Inn at Henleaze and Somerset House in Clifton, both former wet-led pubs, are being completely transformed.
At the Eastfield Inn, two rooms have been knocked through forming a spacious open plan bar and the conservatory has been upgraded creating a high quality function space suitable for year-round use.
At Somerset House the toilets have been moved to the first floor and a small unused kitchen converted to a theatre-style operation increasing seating and space for customers.
Chris Moore, property and strategy director for Star Pubs & Bars, said: “The Star Pubs & Bars estate is focused on great pubs in excellent locations. Careful investment is key to maintaining the quality of our estate and providing long term sustainable business opportunities for lessees.”
