The 6.7% ABV IPA has been developed in 30-litre keg and 330ml bottle format, and is aimed at venues where cask beer isn’t an option due to cellar limitations.
The Jack Brand range is also targeted at bars, restaurants and hotels where there is an increasing interest in ‘craft beers’. The design is inspired by an old bottle found in one of the cellars at the brewery.
Adnams sales director, Max Bond, said: “We know Adnams beers are hugely successful in many pubs and bars throughout the country, but we also know that many venues simply don’t have the space for cask.
“This range is also an opportunity for us to introduce exciting new flavours, with the possibility for small runs and limited editions.”
The second Jack Brand beer will be launched in the summer, with two further beers expected to be released before the end of the year.
