US vodka-based canned cream Liquor Whipped set for UK bars
An alcoholic squirty cream from the US is set for UK pubs and bars.

Liquor Whipped (also known as LW) is a flavoured vodka-infused cream in a can.

At 14% ABV it can be used on top of hot drinks, as a cocktail ingredient or as a “shot”, says importer Eliots. It can also be used to add an extra kick to the pudding menu.

It will initially be available in four flavours: caramel, chocolate, peppermint or vanilla, and has a shelf life of 18 months. It does not need to be refrigerated and will be exclusively available to the on-trade.

“Sold by the ‘shot’ or squirt at 50p or £1 as an accompaniment to desserts or hot drinks, LW will generate great margin and lots of consumer interest,” said Eliots managing director Fraser Henderson.

Other serving suggestions include a squirt of the Irish Mint variant on top of a pint of Guinness; chocolate syrup, vodka, cola & a squirt of chocolate LW in a martini glass and hot milk, caramel syrup and LW caramel.
