Greene King launches flagship pub for its beers

The Mason’s Arms, in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, has become a flagship for Greene King beers, in the brewery’s home town.

The pub, part of Greene King’s tenanted and leased division, is only 600 metres away from the brewery and has undergone a major refurb to transform into the new home of Greene King cask ale.

As part of a unique agreement, the pub now stocks nine different Greene King cask ales, including special one-off and trial beers.

The pub offers third-of-a- pint tasting glasses, and customers are offered a free beer sample before deciding what to drink. New and trial cask ales will be on offer regularly, alongside brands such as Old Speckled Hen, Abbot Ale and Greene King IPA.
