Orchid to roll out new 30-strong 'Do Drop Inns' brand in 2013
Managed pub company Orchid has created a new umbrella group of quality pubs called ‘Do Drop Inns’ which will replace its current Modern British pubs brand.

Inspired by the company’s ‘Dew Drop Inn’ pub in Oxford, ‘Do Drop Inns’ will be rolled out in early 2013, and will aim to offer customers the experience of a traditional British pub.
Do Drop Inns will incorporate 30 pubs and Orchid said it could become one of the most profitable sectors for the pub company.

Simon Dodd, commercial and people director at Orchid Group, said: “The Dew Drop Inn epitomises everything a good British pub should be about – it’s a community local for regulars with plenty of character, cask ale, a warm welcome and great food – and those are exactly the traits that all our Do Drop Inns will display,” says Simon Dodd, Commercial and People Director at Orchid Group.

“Each pub under Do Drop Inns will retain its individuality and name, but by being part of the Do Drop Inns we can assure customers of high standards in every area across every single pub.”

Orchid is to work closely with Cask Marque and Bidendum on the new brand in a bid to offer customers a quality range of beers and wines.

Food offers will run throughout the week, including the Diamond Club for over 50s, giving them 25% off dishes, with quizzes and live sports to attract groups of friends and families.
