Third pub for Kalton and Barlow
Food-led pub operator Kalton & Barlow has acquired its third site and recruited an executive chef.
Free-of-tie lease the Crown at Goostrey in Cheshire will serve traditional British food with a twist, in line with its sister sites. “A local pub should feel like the heart of the community where everyone is welcome,” said co-owner Simon Kalton. “We don’t talk about USPs, we talk about UTPs — unique talking points.”
Kalton & Barlow also operates the Swan at Tarporley in Cheshire and the Boat Inn at Erbistock, near Wrexham.
