The four million limited edition bottles, featuring a new label incorporating the Help for Heroes logo and the Bell’s branding, will be supported across print, outdoor and radio, with the Help for Heroes message reminding that for every bottle sold, 10 pence will be donated to the charity.
Sarah Gilligan, brand manager for Bell’s at Diageo, said: “Bell’s is honoured to be partnering with Help For Heroes, a charity that provides practical and direct support to servicemen, women and veterans, and shares our desire to inspire greatness of character. The dedication shown by those in the Armed Forces has inspired Bell’s to take on the challenge of raising £1 million, so we can give one million reminders that heroes are never forgotten. We are urging outlets to stock up on our Limited Edition bottles to help the cause, and for consumers to raise a glass of Bell’s to our heroes.”
In addition, Bell’s is hosting the largest pub quiz fundraiser in 10,000 pubs in the UK, on the 29th November 2012, with the help of British writer and comedian Danny Wallace. The activity is expected to drive over 200,000 consumers into pubs and raise £250,000 for Help for Heroes as well as potentially break a Guinness World Record.
