WKD rolls out cocktail kettles to add the "wow factor" in pubs and bars

Tens of thousands of WKD ‘cocktail kettles’ are being rolled out across the on-trade, as brand owner SHS Group looks to capitalise on the growth in the cocktail market.

The company says one in five outlets now serves cocktails and the unusual take on the standard cocktail pitchers will generate sales for licensees, as well as add a ‘wow factor’ for pub-goers.

In one Cardiff pub, where the pitchers were trialled, WKD sales trebled, said marketing director Debs Carter.

“We’re always striving to create traffic-building activities for licensees, which engage with consumers. With our new kettles we are delivering a stand-out activity that generates unique in-outlet theatre that can’t be recreated at home.”
