Mitchells & Butlers (M&B) brand Sizzling Pubs has focused on comfort foods with over 20 new dishes unveiled with a luxury fish pie (£7.19), Reggae Reggae chicken melt (£5.99), smoked applewood chicken kiev (£7.69) and warm chocolate brownie (£3.29). There are also new children’s dishes, such as an Annabel Karmel burger (£2.19), named after the child nutrition expert.
Sizzling Pubs has also added calorie information online.
Fellow M&B brand Vintage Inns has also launched a new menu with Ember Inns’ updated version due for release at the end of October.
Stonegate Pub Company brand Slug and Lettuce is trialling a Best of Slug menu across 12 of its 75 sites with a focus on customer favourites. It includes sausage & mash, haddock & chips and as six new dishes.
Barracuda Pub Group’s 150 Smith & Jones sites have also introduced a autumn/winter menu with a focus on snacking and mini desserts.
Other brands Taylor Walker and Whitbread brand Brewer’s Fayre have also launched new menus.
Fellow Whitbread brand Table Table has introduced a ‘Little book of big tasty offers’ to save customers money with offers such as buy one breakfast get one free, £10 off when spending £30 and a free bottle of wine when buying two main meals.
