Michelin-starred TV chef Tom Kerridge has become the first Chef Club ambassador for Nestlé Professional.

The Chef Club has been created for established chefs to provide inspiration and help to upcoming chef talent. It offers exclusive offers, promotions, industry events and masterclasses.

Kerridge, of the Hand and Flowers in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, will help support and teach young chefs on the programme.

"Being a chef is incredibly rewarding but it isn't always easy," he said. "That is why I am really pleased to be working with Chef Club to find new ways to engage with chefs, to share experience and knowledge and to provide to work experience opportunities for young talent just starting out."

Chef brand manager at Nestlé Emma Walker added: "Tom is one of the great heroes of the industry, talented and passionate about inspiring up and coming individuals. Working together we can find ways to support chefs in their ambitions and help them achieve their goals. We know that being a chef is about being creative, passionate and delivering culinary genius on a day to day basis. By having Tom as an ambassador we can provide young chefs with unique opportunities and give them a platform to demonstrate their ambition."
