Managed pub operator Orchid Group has opened its 10th site that combines a pub and a Thai restaurant.
The Plough & Dragon in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, has opened following a £150,000 revamp.
It mixes elements of a traditional pub, such as cask ale, and incorporates Thai cuisine. Traditional pub food is available in the pub, with Thai dishes at the restaurant.
The interiors are described as "cosy", with a series of Chesterfield wing-backed chairs and comfy sofas.
"The acquisition of the Plough & Dragon lease represented a real opportunity for Orchid to become part of the community here in Hemel Hempstead and we are looking forward to sharing our passion for the great British pub and our unique Thai cuisine," said manager Claire Skevington.
"The English pub and Thai dining offer has already proved very popular across the country and this, our tenth such site, will support our business profile and help us cater to the needs of customers."
