Majestic Wine has launched a commercial arm to focus on wine sales to the on-trade.
Majestic Commercial has a dedicated website with vintage charts and exclusive wine lists. The business is also offering a dedicated account manager for customers with a monthly budget of at least £1,000.
A Confidence in Wine course aims to give on-trade staff an understanding of the winemaking process, key grape varieties and "basic food and wine matching principles".
Majestic chief executive Steve Lewis said: "The launch of Majestic Commercial represents another chapter in the growth of our business.
"We recognise the importance of our commercial customers and are delighted that we can now offer them the full Majestic experience."
