Pernod Ricard has launched a marketing campaign for its New Zealand wine brand Brancott Estate.

A TV advertising campaign on ITV1, Channel 4, Sky and Film4 will be shown around popular programmes such as Jamie's 30-Minute Meals, Coronation Street, and Dispatches.

The campaign is aiming

at 12 million consumers between 22 November and 12 December and in early 2011.

Head of marketing for Brancott Estate Mathew Bird said: "This new campaign — to which advertising is central — gives us a real opportunity to reach our target market and engage them in the story behind Brancott Estate and its wines."

The New Zealand wine ditched its previous name Montana in October this year. Pernod Ricard said it made the move in a bid to create a global wine brand.
