New glassware for Woodpecker cider aims to build on the drink's appeal with women.
Jygsaw Brands, which markets Woodpecker in the UK, has developed an elegant new glass to appeal to the 60% of Woodpecker fans who are female.
"Woodpecker is very popular with females, who enjoy its sweeter taste," said marketing director John Edwards.
"We know many like to drink it on a big night out with friends, looking to have a good time, so the festive season is the perfect time to launch our new glass."
The glassware forms part of a distribution drive for the brand and will be supported with PoS kits including drip mats, back-bar displays and tent cards.
The company aims to reach more than 600 new outlets nationwide.
