English lager Suffolk Blonde has been launched in the on-trade by the Chevallier Brewing Company, a new company spearheaded by Aspall cider partner Henry Chevallier Guild.

The 5.2% ABV lager has been on trial in 50 outlets in the Mitchells & Butlers estate including its Nicholson's and Village Pub & Kitchen brands.

Suffolk Blonde is brewed at Shepherd Neame's Faversham Brewery and it will be taken to market by Aspall's commercial team.

The Chevallier Brewing Company was set up two months ago and is a separate business from Aspall. It has been formed to develop and source new and interesting beers.

There are two or three other new products being considered to add to its new current range which also includes the Little Creatures portfolio, from Australia.
