Eastenders barmaid runs real pub
The actress who pulled pints for three years at Eastenders' the Queen Vic will run her own pub for a week.
Rita Simons, who plays feisty barmaid Roxy Mitchell in the soap, will be pulling pints and changing barrels for a BBC Three programme called Beyond Walford.
The chosen pub is similar to the infamous Queen Vic and is also in London's East End.
"It's been an insight seeing what it's like to run a real pub," Simons told The Sun.
"I just hope I don't get carried away and start barring people — as Roxy does."
Beyond Walford will air later this year.
