Carlsberg UK has announced it will be running six Christmas trade shows to run from the end of September and throughout October all over the UK.
Carlsberg says the shows are an opportunity for free trade licensees to speak to a whole host of suppliers they don't normally have direct access to, and give them the chance to place a number of orders for new stock for 2011 at competitive rates and it will qualify them for "draw-down" deals when they order stock for the rest of the year.
David Scott, Customer Marketing Director at Carlsberg UK, said: "The Carlsberg UK Christmas Trade Shows are a fantastic opportunity for licensees to come and spend time with a whole host of leading UK suppliers. They can get excellent deals for the festive period as well as picking up business building ideas and tips in the new and improved 'We Deliver More Zone'.
"But they are also a demonstration of Carlsberg UK's commitment to the on-trade. We are now the only national brewer doing anything like this. We feel it is important to give something back to our loyal customers. And many of our supplier partners feel the same way."
Alongside Carlsberg's brand portfolio, (which includes Carlsberg, Carlsberg Export, San Miguel, Tetley's and Tuborg) visitors will have access to a large number of suppliers, including:
Lavazza, Britvic, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Diageo, Percy Fox, SHS, Maxxium, Pernod Ricard, Budvar, Cellar Trends, Wells & Young's, First Drinks, Global Brands, C&C, Constellation, Halewood, Savannah Cider, Kopparberg, Fuller's, Shepherd Neame, Greene King and St Austell
Plus a number of key non-drinks suppliers will be attending, such as Point One Epos, Redtooth Poker, Brakes and many more…
