The owners of the MA's Great British Pub of the Year 2010 will be presenting at the next Freehouse 500 business club event on 18 October.
Richard and Dee Slade, licensees of the Battlesteads in Wark-on Tyne, Northumberland, who also won Green Pub of the Year at this month's awards, will be sharing ideas on going greener and the business benefits of doing so.
The event for the UK's top freehold pubs takes place at Stapleford Park, Stapleford, Leicestershire.
The day's line-up also includes BII Licensees of the Year 2010 Loren and Richard Pope, of the Bull's Head, Repton; Ben Jones of the Olive Branch in Clipsham, Rutland; and Glyn Williams, of the Crown at Woodbridge, Suffolk — winner of the Alastair Sawday's Pub with Rooms Awards who will be looking at ideas for accommodation, outside catering and "spork dining".
