Diageo has unveiled what it calls its most ambitious advertising campaign, as it attempts to celebrate the best nightlife around the world with Smirnoff vodka.

The Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project will take place on November 27 and will involve 14 countries swapping their best nights out.

They are the US, Great Britain, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, India, Ireland, Lebanon, Poland, South Africa, Thailand and Venezuela.

Radio One DJ Zane Lowe will lead the search for Britain's best night out. Results of the search will be announced on October 22.

A six week tour of cities including London, Brighton, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow, a Facebook page and global partnership with MTV will back up the activity, which forms part of Smirnoff's continuing 'Be There' campaign.
