High street chain Slug and Lettuce is launching a summer specials menu across its food and drink offers from 12 July.
The food menu will comprise five dishes, four of which are new to the Town and City chain. They include a Greek salad (£5.95), spaghetti bolognese (£5.95), club sandwich (£5.95) and mussels, chips and a glass of house wine (£7.45).
Five new cocktails will feature on the drinks menu — orange blossom, Caribbean breeze, summer fling, pomegranate blush and Tokyo iced tea.
The chain is also introducing two new products into its range — Jacobs Creek wine and Swedish cider Rekorderlig, which will be available in apple, strawberry and lime and wild berries.
"The introduction of the summer specials is designed to keep our customers excited and give them variety," said Nicola Stuart of Slug and Lettuce. "We've introduced the club sandwich as it was very popular item on our celebratory 80s menu which commemorated the brand's 25 years on the high street.
"We trialled Rekorderlig to see what customer reaction was like to the brand and it was received very well. Our customers enjoyed the taste of the cider, so now we've rolled it out across all of our bars."
