Lancashire brewer Daniel Thwaites has announced new investment in its warehousing and distribution operations.
The company has decided to continue to manage all operations internally at its distribution centre in Blackburn internally, following a review.
New delivery vehicles are planned and, subject to planning consent, there will be a new temperature control facility "to ensure that its cask ales are delivered to its customers in prime condition".
Eighty local jobs will be safeguarded by the decision, the brewer said.
Company managing director Peter Morris said: "This is a big decision for us and there were many factors at play.
"However, it is testament to the extremely high service levels provided by our dray crews and employees to all of our customers, that we have the confidence to invest behind them for the future.
"More and more Thwaites' fine ales are being drunk outside our local trading area and maintaining our distribution facility and fleet is an important part of the overall service that we offer."
