Eclectic Clubs & Bars will open the first of its new South Pacific bar and club brand Lola Lo at a cost of £200,000 in Brighton next month.
Formerly Po Na Na, the 280-capacity venue features bamboo, hand-carved woods and private booths and will trade five nights a week as Lola Lo from 1 July.
Eclectic, which owns Po Na Na, Sakura and Fez club chains, has spent two years developing the Polynesian concept used throughout Lola Los.
The club will put on student nights, DJs and live percussionists and will offer a range of cocktails, champagnes and 15 speciality rums including Havana Club and Myers's Rum.
"Our aim is to immerse our guests in the atmosphere and flavour of a tropical oasis," said operations director Lee Nicolson. "The pure essence of carefree joie de vivre is what Lola Lo is all about."
