Spring has arrived at last courtesy of Shepherd Neame, which is this week launching its seasonal ale for April and May.
The brewer is bringing back its Early Bird Spring Hope Ale, which takes its name from the Early Bird variety of East Kent Goldings hops that are grown in the fields around Faversham in Kent where the brewery is based.
The beer is light gold in colour, full bodied and has an ABV of 4.3%.
It will be available on draught in selected pubs or in 500ml bottles from Shepherd Neame's 369 pubs, its website as well as off-licenses and supermarkets.
