Windsor & Eton brewery is bringing brewing back to Windsor.
The brewer plans to open its doors after a 79 year closure, with the ambition of making great traditional cask ales for locals and for the many visitors to the area.
The town as a 300 year tradition of brewing but this came to an end when the last of the breweries, Burge's Brewery, closed its doors in 1931.
The brewer currently has an empty factory within sight of Windsor castle, and it is expecting delivery of its brand new British designed and built brewing vessels within the next few weeks. It hopes to be ready to begin producing its first beer in April.
