Pub operators are offering a range of value-driven promotions to attract customers this Valentine's weekend.

Many operators are offering deals from Thursday 11 February through to Valentine's Day.

JD Wetherspoon is offering two steaks and a bottle of wine for £14.99 from Friday to Sunday. The deal includes an 8oz sirloin or rump steak, or BBQ chicken melt, with a bottle of Hardy's red, white or rosé wine.

Bay Restaurant Group brand Slug & Lettuce is offering a three-course menu for £12. This features starters of soup and bruschetta, and mains of peppered rump steak and fresh, grilled Scottish salmon and a dessert of baked vanilla cheesecake.

The company's Ha Ha Bar & Grill is offering Piper Heidseick Champagne for £20 a bottle.

Whitbread brand Brewers Fayre is offering Marquis de la Cour Champagne at £10 a bottle. A special menu of four dishes, running Friday to Sunday, features a 10oz rib-eye steak (£13.99), paprika chicken (£7.99), chocolate fondant and cream (£4.25) and Bakewell tart (£3.75). At the company's Beefeater a three-course meal including a glass of Prosecco is on offer for £19.99.

Mitchells & Butlers brand Vintage Inns is offering a three-course Valentine's menu from Thursday to Sunday for £14.95, and Crown Carveries is offering a carvery and a dessert for £5.

At Greene King brand Hungry Horse a "Hungry hearts" offer is running with a free giant cookie cup dessert offered when customers spend £15 on food.

At Gordon Ramsay's London pubs a three-course menu is on offer for between £45 and £50. At the Narrow the £45 menu features a glass of Prosecco, oysters "two ways" and braised ox cheeks, honey carrots and black cabbage, and chocolate, brandy and prune slice with peanut-butter ice cream.
