Video: Dallaglio — pubs perfect for rugby
Greene King IPA, the official beer of England rugby, has launched the Official England Supporter Pub Network ahead of the 2010 Six Nations.
Greene King IPA rugby ambassador Lawrence Dallaglio opened the network at the St Margaret's Tavern near Twickenham ahead of England's clash with Wales on Saturday (6 February).
The network includes more than 500 Greene King pubs across the country.
Each pub will receive a PoS kit and a life size Dallaglio. The ambassador also features on all promotional material including posters, 3D beer mats, fixture lists, pump clips and banners.
Supporters who buy a pint of Greene King IPA will receive a scratch card with the chance to win an Official Beer mini rugby ball or tickets to see England at Twickenham.
"Our support of England Rugby has continued to grow over the past three years and the England Rugby Supporters' Pubs demonstrate our ongoing commitment to both the team and the fans," said Greene King brewing company managing director Justin Adams.
"There's a great affinity between rugby and cask ale, with supporters across the nation celebrating the game with a quality pint of Greene King IPA.
"We hope the England Supporter Pub Network will become the fans new home from home away from Twickenham and help to make every game a sociable experience."
