Enterprise reshuffles executive team
Enterprise Inns has announced changes to its executive team following news that Colin Pedrick, managing director of operations for the eastern division, is leaving the pubco in March.
Nick Light, currently divisional director for the south coast, has been appointed as managing director of operations from April.
Light's current job will be filled by David McKie, who will transfer from the East Anglia divisional business unit. McKie's role will go to multiple account manager Brian Sorrell.
A statement from Enterprise said: "After three and half years with the company, Colin Pedrick will retire from the business at the end of March.
"Colin joined Enterprise from InBev in 2006 and has made an enormous contribution to our business since then. He has been instrumental in the continuing development of the skills and capabilities of the operations teams as well as the continual improvement of our people throughout the wider organisation.
"Colin's greatest strengths are his people skills and his passion for people development, and it is to his great credit that we have been able to appoint his successor from within.
"I am delighted to announce the appointment of Nick Light as managing director (operations), to take effect from the beginning of April.
"Nick joined the company with the acquisition of Unique in 2004 and has consistently outperformed in all aspects of his responsibilities as divisional director, making a positive impact across the organisation and also when representing the company externally.
"Nick's position as divisional director (south coast) will be taken up by David McKie who will be transferring from the East Anglia DBU, enabling him to fulfill his family's wish to relocate much closer to relatives.
"The strength in depth that we have been able to develop within the organisation has allowed us to make a further internal promotion to the position of divisional director and I am also delighted to announce that Brian Sorrell will take over the East Anglia DBU with effect from the beginning of April.
"From his role as senior regional manager, Brian was promoted in October 2008 and has spent the last 18 months as multiple account manager, supervising our activities across a portfolio of multiple lessees, as well as taking a major part in the establishment of the TMA programme.
"In addition, Brian was seconded to the West London DBU as acting divisional director for six months in 2009.
"Finally, in a further internal appointment, Zara Hinds will take over the role of multiple account manager in addition to her continuing work on the TMA programme."
