A wild strawberry frappé liqueur brand is ready to hit the pub trade.
Bad Angel, a blend of wild strawberry flavours and a light dairy base infused with alcohol, is designed to be served frappéd, or whisked.
Bad Angel — which is being launched in the UK by Babco Europe — requires just 15 seconds of whisking with the 'Angels Wand' hand-held blender, or vigorous shaking over ice, to volumise the liquid and release the strawberry flavours.
Each 70cl bottle comes with a complimentary An-gels Wand blender.
"The frappé liqueur is a new and exciting innovation in liquid technology," said Babco's Mark Wilson.
The drink, which is described as "indulgent but 98% fat-free" is aimed at the female consumer.
"Bad Angel offers unique margin opportunities for the trade and a heavenly new drinking experience for women," said Wilson.
The product doesn't require refrigeration though the company says it is best served chilled. It can be used to create a range of drinks, including the Shy Angel (which includes a splash of coconut rum), the renaissance angel (mixed with Amaretto and crushed amaretti biscuits) or sticky angel (includes butterscotch schnapps).
