Pub visitors could be in for a Halloween surprise this weekend when the Hobgoblin goes on tour.
The character, representing Wychwood Brewery Hobgoblin beer, will be appearing in cities across the country to dispense free samples of beer, goodies and some mischief.
Pubs who buy two nine gallon barrels of the dark brew will receive "spine tingling" POS kits, including posters, a flashing pumpkin pump clip and beer mats containing instant win offers.
"We wanted to take Hobgoblin out and about, so look out for more details of where he'll be in Oxford, Birmingham and London," said Kate Welsh, brand manager for the Marston's owned Wychwood. "There are some fantastic offers available - anything from the much coveted T-shirts and pint glasses to £1,000 cash, so even of you don't get to meet him this time, grab a bottle and get in the Hobgoblin groove."
