Booze company Diageo may be changing its name. The brewer invented the moniker Diageo after Guinness merged with Grand Metropolitan in 1997. It's never been the most popular name amongst City traditionalists, but it could be about to change. In a change of the articles of association to be passed at the company's upcoming AGM is this gem: "Change of name… the New Articles enable the directors to pass a resolution to change the company's name." - The Telegraph
