A lager that taps into trends for both tequila-added and fruit-flavoured beers has hit the UK market.
H20 Lager Co has launched its Gringo range of bottled beers, inspired by lagers from Mediterranean countries, according to the producer.
The beers come in flavours of tequila & lime, tequila & cranberry and tequila, mango & passionfruit.
"Imagine getting home after a hard day at work and unwinding to a bottle of lager, but no ordinary lager," said company founder Warren Bryant.
The range had its initial outing at the Beers of the World Live Show, held at Birmingham's NEC in June this year, and it is now ready for a nationwide launch.
"Gringo fired up the imagination and the taste buds of all at the show in Birmingham this year," he said.
The drink is the latest fruit-flavoured beer to hit the UK, after a wave of brands new to this market in the past year and follows in the footsteps of other tequila beers in the UK, such
as Desperados and Salitos.
