Sky has announced that it will not be putting up prices for its commercial packages for the start of the new football season.
The company will continue with both its Sky Base and Sky Ultimate packages for next year and prices will remain the same.
Sky is also launching a High Definition pack for commercial customers which will vary in cost depending on the size of a venue. Pubs with a ratebable value of between £15,000-£19,000 will pay around £26 a month.
Those who sign up to the HD deal will receive a free set-top box and installation.
Sky Ultimate customers will also be able to receive a second viewing card for free. Unlike last year Sky has also vowed to install the second card for no additional cost
However licensees who subscribe to the At the Races channel will be paying 50 per cent extra from September 1.
A Sky spokeswoman said: "Live sport is recognised as a great way for licensees to grow their business, particularly in a difficult trading environment. We believe that the breadth and quality of our offering represents great value for money, particularly as our Sky Base and Sky Ultimate prices remain unchanged for the second year in a row.
"We have also recognised the increasing demand for high definition coverage and have introduced a special offer to allow even more commercial customers to offer their customers an enriched HD experience."
Sky Ultimate subscribers will also be able to view ESPN which has snapped up the broadcasting rights to Premier League football that became available following the collapse of Setanta.
