WKD has unveiled two new campaigns to support the brand this month — on billboards and on radio.

A 48-sheet outdoor billboard ad campaign will proclaim "WKD Sponsors The BBQ Season. 'Cos the football season's way too expensive" and "Fancy A Brew? Just don't dunk your biccie in it".

WKD Red will also benefit from national radio support running throughout June. Listeners to a wide range of stations, including Juice FM, Cool FM and Key 103, will be encouraged to call in to recount their most enjoyable moment from the past football season.

The best stories will win a case of WKD Red, WKD merchandise and VIP entry to a local nightclub.

"We like to supplement our national advertising with additional, targeted and regional activities, and these two campaigns are set to support the brand at the start of the summer," said Beverage Brands' marketing director Debs Carter.

"With a healthy dose of WKD humour, they will keep the brand top of mind and help build sales for stockists."
