Guinness is aiming to attract rugby fans to the pub through a promotion offering a VIP trip to South Africa to see the third and final British Lions test match.
As well as the trip to see the match, which takes place in Johannesburg on Saturday, July 4, there will be 150 replica Lions shirts to give away.
Backed up by point of sale (PoS) kits, the promotion asks drinkers purchasing Guinness to text a number to see if they have won.
More than 5,000 pubs have already been selected to take part in the activity, but there are a remaining 300 PoS kits available to licensees on request.
The VIP trip promotion closes on June 22, but the shirt competition doesn't end until July 6.
Licensees will also have an opportunity to win one of 10 official Lions shirts for their bar when they send a picture of their decorated pub to guinness09@diageo.com before July 6.
Guinness sponsorship manager Lee Bailey said: "Around 3.5 million Guinness drinkers are keen rugby fans in Great Britain.
"By displaying the Guinness PoS kit, licensees can let their customers know that they are showing the biggest rugby games of the summer. Licensees should be sure to give PoS pride of place where people can see it to drive footfall and sales into their outlet."
