The ETM Group has opened its eighth pub, the Cadogan Arms in Chelsea, London and says it plans to acquire two more by the end of the year.

The King's Road pub has been leased for an undisclosed sum from the Cadogan Estate, which owns large parts of Chelsea, including another ETM Group pub, The Botanist.

The brothers behind ETM Group, Tom and Ed Martin took on the lease at the beginning of April and opened it within 10 days of taking it on. It had been closed since December. However refurbishment is still ongoing and is expected to be completed by the end of May.

An open brick fireplace, oak panelling, the original back bar tiles have all been restored.

Tom Martin said: "We are delighted to open our eighth site in a such a prestigious location and that our relationship with the renowned Cadogan Estate continues to go from strength to to strength.

"Following the successful launch of The Cadogan Arms, we look forward to opening two more London venues within the next year."

ETM Group opened its last pub, the Hat and Tun in London's Hatton Garden, in October. It also owns the White Swan and the Well in Clerkenwell, the Gun in the Docklands, the Empress of India and the Prince Arthur, both in east London.
