Britvic has confirmed it is to launch a new flavour in its J20 range.
The addition to the recently-relaunched adult soft drinks range has been rumoured for some time, and it has now been announced that it will be Grape & Kiwi.
It will, however, only be a limited edition product. Available from the beginning of June, two million bottles of Grape & Kiwi will be made available exclusively to the on-trade.
The product is a lighter taste than the rest of the six-strong core range, designed to complement food.
The brand hit TV screens this month as part of a £4m media campaign that will run throughout 2009. Entitled 'It is metter to bix things up', the advertising campaign will run until the beginning of July.
Senior J2O brand manager George Cobb said: "The new Grape & Kiwi flavour will be available just in time for the height of summer, allowing the licensed trade to drive incremental sales during this key seasonal period. We recommend that the Grape & Kiwi variant be displayed alongside the existing range, using accompanying point of sale to enhance visibility."
