Coors Brewers has launched a new website to provide a "one stop shop" for freetrade customers ordering from the company.
Licensees will be able to purchase Coors' major brands Carling, Coors Light, Grolsch, and draught Magners, as well speciality beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks and coffee from Coors Direct and receive them in the same delivery.
Coors' online ordering had previously been done through Barbox, the joint venture between itself and Scottish and Newcastle that was sold to rivals Amphire UK in August 2008.
The new website offers a greater range of products than was available to Coors customers under Barbox.
It also boasts exclusive offers and full information on the 1,800 brands on offer.
Steve Ellis, Coors sales director for the independent on-trade, said: "We are committed to driving the beer market forward and the launch of Coors Direct gives a sense of our ambition to support our customers' businesses and help them grow their profit."
Coors also hopes that a new publishing system and a tool that offers advice on stocking policy will eventually be available through the website.
The brewer is currently making the systems available through account managers as a trial. The publishing facility allows customers to create their own drinks menus and promotional materials. The consultative tool, 'Coors Drinks Academy', provides advice on selecting an appropriate range of drinks for your outlet.
