The mum-of-two realised the £3,500 gem was missing after a night at the Admiral Benbow pub in Penzance. Kate, 45, said: "I thought I'd never see it again." Pub landlady Vera Ghey is refusing to call time — despite turning 100. Britain's oldest landlady has run The Bull's Head for 60 years. Vera took over the business with her late husband Sidney in 1949 and has carried on since his death 30 years ago. - The Sun
