Leicestershire brewer Everards has announced its seasonal ale line-up for 2009.

The programme kicks off this month with the rugby inspired cask conditioned stout Pitch Black (4.3% abv), which is brewed annually to celebrate the Six Nations.

From March to April, it's the return of Sly Fox (4.0% abv), which is light and refreshing with a cunning hint of ginger.

Summer will begin with the release of Hazy Daze (4.3% abv) in June to August. This will be followed by Equinox (4.2% abv) in September and October.

The year will end with the release of festive beer Sleighbell (4.5% abv).

Erika Hardy, marketing manager for Everards, said: "We are extremely proud of this year's seasonal offerings, which combine longstanding customer favourites with bold and unusual brews to try and tempt more pub goers into giving ale a try.

"Each ale will come with pump clips and beer mats featuring the Cyclops tasting guide, which has been developed by Everards to make tasting notes easier to use for both customers and bar staff."
