A Somerset village pub, which rears its own pigs, has been named England Pub of the Year at this year's AA Centenary Awards.
Rupert and Victoria Reeves, owners of the Queen's Arms in Corton Denham were presented with the award at a glitzy ceremony at London's Grosvenor House hotel.
The couple said: "We are absolutely thrilled to win this prestigious award especially in the AA's centenary year. The award belongs to many people - our brilliant team of staff, our family, friends and supporters and our fantastic customers. We thank them all for their part in making our pub so special".
AA hotel services manager Simon Numphud said: "We selected the Queens Arms as Pub of the Year, England because they demonstrate an exceptional attention to detail which is evident in every aspect of their business from the food and drink to their accommodation and marketing."
The Bush Inn, in St Hilary, Monmouthshire, was named Pub of the Year, Wales, and the Torridon Inn, in Torridon, Highland, picked up the Pub of the Year award for Scotland.
