Greene King Pub Partners has launched a new licensing guide for its tenants.

The guide aims to advice licensees on how to get the most from their licence and manage all the appropriate documentation. The pack also includes training guides for staff and a CD offering advice.

"We are very proud of the licensing support we have provided our licensees since the changes were implemented in November 2005," said customer services manager Barry Gifford.

"It has not only created additional opportunities for licensees; it has protected them against the risks. This pack helps them ensure that they are acting within their premises licence protecting both themselves and their business as well as maintaining a peaceful and happy relationship with their neighbours."

Pub Partners managing director David Elliott added: "Unfortunately the changes in the licensing laws have added undue bureaucracy and red tape to the running of a pub. Therefore it's important that we help our licensees through the raft of compliance issues relating to it.

"The new licensing packs will certainly support them with all the information in a easily laid out format at their fingertips."
