Pubs across England are set to unite and take part in the Beautiful Beer national toast to England and St George at 930pm this evening.
The MA has been backing the campaign for pubs to join in the celebrations all year.
"We should all celebrate St George's Day, as, after all, it is England's national day," said Paul Egerton, licensee of Charles Wells pub the Jolly Sailor, in St Albans.
"There is a real increase in sales on the day because people are there to celebrate, so naturally buy more."
All Young's managed pubs in London are offering Young's Bitter for only £1.50 to £2 a pint, depending on location, today.
Marston's licensee Richard Scott has arranged a day of traditional English fun at the Red Lion in Worcestershire.
"We will start with a fry-up and end with a parade through the streets of Bromsgrove with a fair maiden on horseback," he said.
John Bellinger, Hook Norton tenant at the Bell in Adderbury, Oxfordshire, is offering customers 303, a beer named after the year St George slayed the dragon, for £1.50 on the day.
Meanwhile, Charles Wells Bombardier survey found Winston Churchill to be the ultimate English icon.
