One London manager will secure his first piece of English silverware in Sunday's Carling Cup final. Juande Ramos's Tottenham booked their place in the final with a convincing 6-2 aggregate win in the derby against Arsenal - the first victory over their north London neighbours since 1999.

It must have been a particularly sweet revenge in front of the jubilant fans who had witnessed Arsene Wenger's men knock Spurs out of the competition at this stage last year.

Avram Grant's Chelsea progressed via a 1-0 semi-final victory over an Everton side that barely came close against a tight Blue defence - the champions won 3-1 on aggregate.

Last year's final between Arsenal and Chelsea was contested at the Millennium Stadium, but this year it will return to Wembley for the first time since 2000. Catch SS1's coverage from 2.30pm.

Other domestic action includes Newcastle United v Manchester United on Sat-urday (5.15pm, Setanta1).

It's a far cry from the mid-1990s when the two managers were vying for the league title - and Sir Alex Ferguson and his mind games got the better of the Magpies' Kevin Keegan. While the Red Devils are still right up there at the top of the Premier League, Newcastle have slid to mid-table and have gone a while without a win.

In Europe, Tottenham and Everton continue their UEFA Cup campaigns. Spurs go into the second-leg of their tie against Slavia Prague with a slender advantage, after beating the top Czech side on foreign turf (ITV4, 7.00pm). Everton's two-goal lead should stand them in good stead as Norwegian side Brann head to Goodison Park (five, 7.30pm).

BBC1 has a full day of Six Nations fixtures, with all of the nations in action after a weekend off. If Wales beat Italy, they will sit at the head of the table - at least for a few hours. The pressure will then be on holders France, who host England in Paris.
