England's loss is going to hit us very hard next summer and an exiting new tournament would certainly take the sting out of it. I think Gordon Brown was just appeasing the public with his recent comments - he needs to do more to get behind it, as do the rest of the Government, the FA and the public. We certainly need to get things moving now to have a chance of setting it up.

Absolutely, last Wednesday was a real disappointment and we're worried about next summer. This pub is football mad and a home nations tournament on top of the European cup would make for a much better summer. The Crotia match affected the trade but also the atmosphere in the pub for the next few days - it was like someone had died. The people in charge of these things really need to push for this.

As a Welsh licensee I'm not sure that England really deserved a place in Euro 2008, but Wales are in the same boat so I'd welcome a home nations tournament. It would boost trade at the pub and provide an opportunity for the younger Welsh players to practice with the big boys because there's going to be a long gap before anything international comes up for Wales now.

I haven't heard about the home nations tournament but it's obviously something, as a pub that shows a lot of football, we'd want pushed through. We had a good day on Wednesday but the fact England are out is going to cost us thousands. We're well known for attracting a good crowd for the bigger games and we've shelled out a huge amount for Sky, so we're very disappointed with the result.
